I am a freelance photographer and short-film maker based in Exeter, Devon, UK, working across the South West and beyond. My work specialises in corporate, editorial, features, industrial and portrait photography and video for websites, marketing, press-releases and magazines.
My work is nothing if not varied, which is one of the best things about what I do. I love the opportunities and challenges which come with that.
The majority of people I shoot are not accustomed to being in front of a camera and don't enjoy being photographed or filmed. One of the compliments I receive most often is that I am able to put my subjects at ease and make the experience as straightforward and enjoyable as possible.
Following my degree in Photography and Imaging from Manchester Metropolitan University I went on to study Press Photography with the NCTJ in Sheffield. My first job was with the Croydon Advertiser group of newspapers across South London. I then moved to Devon for a job with a news agency which brought with it a better lifestyle and the opportunity to work for national newspapers. In 2011 I started my freelance career and I haven’t looked back.
I shoot personal projects and stock photography which is available on Alamy and has been published around the world.
In my spare time I enjoy cycling, coffee, cake, making and tinkering with things. I love coming up with novel solutions to problems.
